An Experiential Weekend of Embodied Practice
A weekend to slow down—so the body can speak again.
Yoga Somatics is a precise, deeply nourishing approach to movement: subtle, intelligent, and profoundly effective. Guided by Tias and Surya Little—co-founders of Prajna Yoga and pioneers in SATYA (Somatic Awareness Training for Yoga)—we explore the body’s inner pathways: fascia, joints, breath, circulation, spine, and the quiet current of prana that connects it all.
Expect a practice that is gentle, experiential, and surprisingly transformative. Less effort. More sensation. More space. More you.
What this weekend is about
In yoga, the nadis are described as rivers of energy flowing through the body—pathways of circulation that include blood, lymph, and the nervous system moving through the connective tissues. In SATYA somatics, we learn to listen to these pathways through small, refined movements—rocking, spiraling, gliding, unwinding—until the body remembers how to release.
This weekend supports:
-
Fascial hydration & joint nourishment
-
Nervous system downshift (stress release, deep settling)
-
Pelvic and spinal support (sacrum, low back, hips)
-
Neck and shoulder release (space, ease, clarity)
-
A coherent inner flow (bandhas, central channel, spinal chakras)
The effect is often immediate: more breath, more internal spaciousness, more grounded vitality.
Schedule & Session Descriptions
Friday, May 1, 2026
2:00–4:30 pm — Yoga Somatics for Nadis, Circulation & Joints
We explore gentle SATYA somatic movements and yoga postures to invite greater ease and circulation through the body’s subtle pathways. Rocking, circular, and spiral movements soften fascia, nourish joints, and awaken the body’s natural fluid intelligence. Slow, receptive, and deeply regenerative—supporting radiant health, resilience, and longevity.
6:00–8:30 pm — Nourishing Bone, Blood & Breath
A calming practice designed to unwind fatigue and stress held in the deeper tissues. Through SATYA somatics and supported yoga postures, we help the nervous system settle, release strain, and quiet the mind. As the body softens, prana flows more harmoniously—nourishing bone, blood, and breath, and restoring a grounded sense of ease and vitality.

10:00 am–12:30 pm — Yoga Somatics for Sacrum, Hips & Low Back
A slow, attentive exploration of the structures around the hips—inviting stability and ease into the low back and pelvis. Through gentle, multi-directional movements we explore the many angles of rotation in and around the hip joints, encouraging fluidity in the sacrum, SI joints, and pelvic bowl. Grounding, supportive, and quietly strengthening.
2:00–4:30 pm — Yoga Somatics for Shoulders & Neck
We practice SATYA using gentle gliding, stretching, and unwinding movements to cultivate somatic intelligence and deepen proprioceptive awareness. As fascia is softly stretched and tissues rehydrate, accumulated tension in shoulders and neck begins to release. This practice helps reduce stress and depletion—leaving you more spacious, supported, and at ease.
Sunday, May 3, 2026
10:00 am–12:30 pm — Yoga Somatics for the Spinal Chakras
The chakras are vital centers along the spine—closely connected with the nervous system and the subtle flow of life force. Through gentle yoga and somatic release (sliding, gliding, twisting, wave-like movements) we invite clarity, balance, and vitality along the length of the spine. We also work with bandhas—subtle inner supports—to encourage a smooth flow through the central channel. Integrative, spacious, and quietly powerful: a coherent close to the weekend.
